We Focus on

Jesus is central to everything we do at The Woods. We sing, pray, and preach in His powerful Name. Our past, present, and future is centered on Jesus Christ. Our purpose on this earth is to make much of Jesus Christ.

We are
Real People
Here at The Woods, we are dedicated to being a church for those that have no clue what to do in church! We are a group of believers from a lot of different backgrounds. Whether you grew up Catholic or Charismatic or anything in between, we want you to find a place to discover who Jesus is and what God has in store for your life.
Ultimately we hope that here at The Woods you'll find a place where you will be accepted just as you are. Maybe you've got some baggage or have made mistakes in your past - and you're probably not so perfect today. Please know that when you walk through our doors, all that doesn't matter. What matters is the journey you are about to embark on. One that will lead you closer to Christ, and you will be forever changed!
"So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit."

Real transformation only occurs when you encounter real truth. At Wanamaker Woods, be prepared to get real with God and do some business with Him. The Bible isn't just a collection of stories. From Genesis to Revelation, God has provided His Word to help you figure out your life. Each Sunday you will have the opportunity to dig deep and explore the character of God and His plan for you.
"but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love."
Ephesians 4:15-16
We serve
The perfect God
We serve a good and perfect God. The nations are His dwelling and our lives are His vessels. We have compassion for the poor, and our hearts are open to the rich. We believe God wants to prosper those who believe and are generous for His purpose. There are many ways to get involved with serving at The Woods. Whether you give financially, or give with your time, gifts and talents, we encourage you to be generous and spread the word of God in every way you can.
